Clappers, musical instrument (bone), from Riqqeh
Concussion plaques, clappers, of bone, in the form of a pair of hands with forearms. Engraving on the plaques represents the finger joints of the hands, with decoration at the wrists. Each plaque has a hole at the base, probably to allow them to be tied together.
New Kingdom, 18th Dynasty, ca. 1450 BC. Now in the Horniman Museum.
